About Us

Doug & Robin Rowe Williams purchased the Blaine House at 4 N. Hanover Street in 2025 with the goal of restoring the property back to its original splendor.

Both are from the local area. Robin was born in Carlisle and attended Carlisle High School while Doug grew up in the Newville area and went to Big Spring High School. Robin is active with the Cumberland County Historical Society and is an avid collector of Cumberland County antiquities. Doug grew up in the historic NIcholas Stough tavern house (c. 1790) that served as a bed & breakfast for 30 years. Both are interested in history and enjoy DIY projects and home renovations.

The completed restoration is estimated to take two years and be finished in the summer of 2027. They invite you to share this experience on their social media as more pictures and videos are uploaded.
